Is it Too Early for Christmas?

For some, the Christmas season starts as soon as Halloween ends. For others, it’s after Bonfire Night. And me? – it’s official the second my birthday has passed – let the festive season begin!

Why wait when the darkening, gloomy days towards the end if November are crying out for a little sparkle? Twinkling lights in shop windows, wreaths on doors & even that first hint of festive music can transform the dreariest of days into something magical.

This time of year is the perfect prelude to winter. Mulled wine is finally back on the menu, filling the air with warmth & cheer. Sipping a spiced, steaming cup whilst imagining the festive season ahead? Absolute bliss!

Let’s face it, the world can always use a little more joy. There’s nothing like the sight of smiling faces, sparkling decorations & excited children counting down the sleeps. For them, Christmas is pure magic & it’s hard not to catch their infectious enthusiasm.

So, no, it’s not too early for Christmas. In fact, we’re getting the decorations out at home this week. The tree will be up, baubles hung & fairy lights given the grand turn-on to chase away these long nights. For me, life’s too short to wait until December to embrace the happiest season of all!

Remember, it’s never too early to add a little extra joy and sparkle to our days – isn’t that what Christmas is all about?
