Why Spirohealth is so special to me
Vicky Miller of front desk shares her heartfelt thoughts on Spirohealth:
Our Practice means a great deal to me, and not just because it’s where I work. It has become a place I can rely on, especially when other parts of life feel a bit out of balance. No matter what else is going on, I know that when I walk through the door, I’m stepping into a space that feels calm, focused, and reassuring.
There are days when life feels noisy and demanding, and worries can easily follow you everywhere. For me, coming into the Practice allows me to leave those worries outside on Putney High Street. I can take a breath, reset, and focus on what I’m here to do. That sense of separation is incredibly important to me. It gives me the headspace to concentrate on the job in hand and to give my full attention to what really matters.
What makes this place so special isn’t just the space itself, but the people in it. I feel very lucky to work alongside such a supportive and committed team. Everyone brings their own strengths, but there’s a shared sense of care and professionalism that runs through everything we do. There’s a genuine feeling that we’re all working towards the same goal and looking out for one another along the way. That makes even the busy or challenging days feel manageable.
Our clients are just as important in shaping what this Practice means to me. Every person who comes through our doors brings their own concerns, questions, and trust. Being able to support them, listen to them, and help in whatever way we can is something I never take for granted. Those everyday interactions are a reminder of why our work matters and why taking the time to do things properly is so important.
Spirohealth offers something that can be hard to find elsewhere — a sense of calm and purpose in the middle of a busy world. It allows me to focus, to feel grounded, and to be present. Even when things outside aren’t quite right, I know that this is a place where I can show up, do meaningful work, and feel supported.
That’s why Spirohealth is so important to me. It’s not just a workplace; it’s a constant, steady part of my life, shaped by the people who work here and the people we care for every day.
All my love
